Today morning Guru Maharaja gave a Srimad-Bhagavatam class 1.2.30-31. After the class Guru Maharaja gave time for Santirupa Mataji and family, as her son (Hari) was in the critical ICU condition - multi organ failures. And, hi oxygen level was also down. Then Guru Maharaja chanted Govardjana Dharam vande, Panca-tattva Pranams, and Hare Krishna Maha Mantra. It is really a causeless mercy. After hearing Guru Maharaja's chanting, the soul left the body peacefully. It was really an amazing, how fortunate is that soul who hears Guru Maharaja chanting on his ears and leaving the body. It is all very perfectly arranged, after Bhagavatam class Guru Maharaja gave time for them, and no thought these things would happen.

Maha Varaha Pr shared that, last evening when he said to Guru Maharaja that, SP Bala Subramanium a famous singer from South India left the world due to Covid-19. Guru Maharaja said, "I know him. Once he came to our temple Janmastami program and sang bhajans along with Yesudas. And the public asked them to sing Cinema songs, but they denied and continued with devotional bhajans." 

And, evening Caitanya-lila class was very much ecstatic. When Guru Maharaja was vibrating in ecstasy the whole room was vibrating, his ecstasy breaks through our hard hearts and we also experience some glimpse like flash, inside us. He is exhibiting us these ecstatic symptoms, and proving every second that Lord Caitanya presents, and whatever said in Caitanya-Caritamrta is not an imagination. 25/SEP/2020 Sri Mayapur Dhama, India

Yes! Still we are in Lockdown. We cook for ourselves, and live in Lotus Building, we never even go down to the ground floor. Management made Barry gates so that no one can enter southern side of Lotus building. So, our gurantine is somewhat became habituaed.

And, I am not writing any diaries as the whole world gets update about Guru Maharaja's activities over Jayapataka Swami App everyday. But, still I thought, may be I should record some of my memories everyday. Even if it is one line. My sister very much insisted - due to lazyness and other excuses, I am not doing. But, will try to do some records here.

Today, whole day I was busy with my other services and came in the evening it was 7pm. As Guru Maharaja changed his dinner time to 6pm. So, at 7pm Maha prasadam will come out from his room. And I go to kitchen to honor his Maha. Normally, we get little bit, because many of Guru Maharaja's servants are doing Purusottama month vrata (havisyanna) so, no one takes Guru Maharaja's Maha prasadam. So, I get whatever remnants that is there. It became regular last two days, after taking Maha prasadam I rush to the class.

Today I entered Guru Maharaja room and Guru Maharaja asked about Vaisnava samadhis and its history. As he wants to present to his godbrother, who says that Sannyasis doesn't need to be buried - so that we can save space, and in future we no need to maintain samadhis. So in order to show him (them) proof that Vaisnava samadhis, not only for Vaisnava sannyasis also for grhasthas were also established in our parampara. So, Guru Maharaja asked to explaore it.

Then, Guru Maharaja rushed to class room, and did his Purusottama arati to Sri Sri Radha Madhava. We displayed a picture of Radha-madhava on big screen and Guru Maharaja did arati, we all touched him, this is our usual practise - whenever Guru Maharaja do some arati, we all touch Guru Maharaja or the person who is touching Guru Maharaja. This was told by Guru Maharaja - so that we also will take part along with him. After arati, we lifted his legs, on a foot rest, but Guru Maharaja didn't allow to lift it. Then Guru Maharaja said, Radha Madhava picture is on screen, how can I raise my legs, first change the picture then life my legs. He is super conscious of every single details. Unfortunately we are not.

Then he gave his ecstatic Caitanya Lila class. And after that Guru Maharaja participated in the Kaushal Kids Zoom competition Finals and addressed them, this is a new initiative of Damodara desh Yatra. Very much appreciated by many devotees. That program zoom control was given to Srivatsa Pr and I went to dinner. 

Again I joined back to assist in night shift. Guru Maharaja was watching news about like more than 400 whales suddenly dies and came to shore. So, scientist are researching why it happened? Like this different news - Guru Maharaja was watching and commenting for each one. Isvara Puri Maharaja Pr and Guru Maharaja watch and discuss. Then finally, we made him to go to bed, and Jaya Radha Krishna Pr was called to read out Srimad-Bhagavatam. Tomorrow morning Guru Maharaja will Bhagavatam class on 1.2.30-31. Day ended very fast. Everyday goes very fast with Guru Maharaja - as he is busy in preaching and keep us also busy. Fortunate to be here with him during this lockdown. There were many days hankered to be next to him - Krishna bestowing so much of mercy that Guru Maharaja now keeping me next to him. I don't know how long this blessing will be for me, as I commit lot of offenses at his lotus feet. I pray that, I should be somewhat useful in his service. (Personal Diary - Syama Rasika dasa)

12/AUG/2020 Sri Krishna Janmastami @ Sri Mayapur. India

Today is the day of Celebration but it is extremely silent due to this pandemic. The whole world is suffering, especially the devotee community around the world - they are not able to celebrate these wonderful surcharging festivals like Sri Krsna Janmastami.

Morning 7:30am Guru Maharaja's Srimad-Bhagavatam class. 6:30am His Holiness Bhakti Vijaya Bhagavata Maharaja's class. Maharaja was speaking mainly on Lord's opulence, and philosophical aspects. I was updating Guru Maharaja about Maharaja's lectures. Guru Maharaja made a sankalpa to fast with water only. It is hard for him with this health and the amount of medicines he takes. 

Radharamana Sevaka Prabhu was reading some emails before Guru Maharaja enters into his class. Guru Maharaja joined on time for the class, and Sujidentriya Prabhu joined over Zoom and made the translation in Bengali.

And Guru Maharaja launched Jayapataka Swami app that was developed by Satya Medha Gauranga Prabhu (UK). And after the class, Guru Maharaja gave time for Question and Answer session - which went for 30mins.

Today, Dr. Acarya Ratna Prabhu booked an Zoom appointment for Guru Maharaja with Dr. Dinesh in Rela Institute (where Guru Maharaja had his liver and kidney transplant) around 1:30pm. So, I came around 1:15pm and Guru Maharaja also came on time, but unfortunately the Doctor for delayed for one hour. In this one hour, Guru Maharaja was watching ISKCON Hyderabad temple's online exhibition and their temple live Deity Darsana, arcana, book stalls, etc. Then I played Srila Prabhupada's dictation of Krishna Book 51st Chapter along with text. And Guru Maharaja was listening sitting on his newstep machine and also, reading text along with the audio for 15 mins. Then we received a call from the Hospital - and Guru Maharaja got ready to meet with Dr. Dinesh. After seeing all thr blood reports of Guru Maharaja, Doctor was happy. And, his only concern was about the Guru Maharaja's weight, so he suggested some diet plan yo discuss with Guru Maharaja's dietitian. And after the meeting Guru Maharaja went and took a nap.

At 5:30pm there was a online class scheduled with Juhu Smarana Utsava festival. And Guru Maharaja addressed on Janmastami topic. Immediately after that, we had special Caitanya Book class. The day before Guru Maharaja asked, "Is there any pastimes related to Janmastami - then I will do that as Caitanya Lila class on Janmastami. And on Prabhupada Vyasa-puja, I will do the portion of "My Senapati Bhakta" from Caitanya Mangala." So, we found pastimes that are related with Janmastami and Jaya Radha Krsna Prabhu made an amalgamation. So, Guru Maharaja started to give lecture on that.

He was in super transcendental ecstasy reading this portion, where the Lord exhibits and confirms that He is the same Cowherd boy from Vrindavana. And, when he read the verse, the devotees who were acting as Nanda and Yasoda, in joy they distributed accumulated wealth as charity to everyone. Guru Maharaja couldn't control his ecstatic emotions. It is always blissful to read Caitanya Caritamrita with Guru Maharaja. His ecstasy will make you feel the spiritual vibration.

After the Caitanya Lila class, Guru Maharaja was extremely tired. And he went to his room and was watching Mayapur.TV. And Maha Varaha Prabhu said, "Let him rest! No more programs. Around 10 or 11pm will do abhishek and watch Mayapur TV." 

Then I saw a missed call from Santirupa Mataji from Malaysia. And she asked, "Is there any chance that Guru Maharaja visit Kuala Lumpur festival." I told her, Guru Maharaja just went to his room - he might take rest. But, let me try.

Maha Varaha Pr went to kitchen to help Ojasvini Mataji and cooking team. 

So, I went to Guru Maharaja's room and said, about the Kuala Lumpur temple's request. Guru Maharaja thought for ten seconds and said, "Take me to the glass room, I will address them!" I said, "You are tired, and fasting. May be, we will bring the laptop. And you just bless them. And we will end the program in five mins." But, Guru Maharaja said, "No! I will go there." Then he came, and he joined in their Zoom. There were only 4 participants, and Guru Maharaja asked, "Why there is no devotees!" The temple management said, "Everyone watch on Facebook live!" Guru Maharaja said, "I want to see them all!" And they posted the link, and devotees started to join in Zoom. Guru Maharaj then took Deity Darsana. Kripa Sindhu Pr (Temple President) gave a report to Guru Maharaja. Then Guru Maharaja gave a short class on Janmastami. He mainly quoted the quote from Hari-bhakti-vilasa, that Sanatana Gosvami said, "One who watch the abhishek of the Lord and one who perform the abhishek wj get the same benefit." So, Guru Maharaja said, if a person watch online or directly participate - they will get the same benefit. Then Guru Maharaja visited different devotee's house, and they were all thrilled. Some said, "This is my best Janmastami ever!" This sudden surprise of Guru Maharaja visit made them all extremely jubilant. Then Guru Maharaja said, "I will visit like this to all the temples in my zone contact now!" Then I called Murali Syama Pr, he called all the temples in South India, and I called Chennai and Coimbatore. And we started to connect one by one. Guru Maharaja spent like five to ten mins for each temple... Devotees and leaders everyone was in so much of bliss. When he visited Seshadri Puram temple, Dina Bandhu Pr from Vrindavana was giving class. And Guru Maharaja paid his obeisances, and asked him, "Do you know, Lord Caitanya celebrated Janmastami in Vrindavana?" And Anadi Jagannatha Pr said, "Seeing you both is like Vrindavana meets Mayapur." Like it was very much transcendental mins. Then Guru Maharaja was welcomed by Anukulya Kesava Pr abd pujaris with Purna Kumbha and Jagannatha Darsana. Then Guru Maharaja spoke few words and blessed the devotees.

Then like this Guru Maharaja visited Coimbatore, Mangalore, Gandharvika Giridhari Temple, Chennai... Then we arranged for the Abhishek for Sri Sri Radha Madhava and Rupa Manjari along with Salagramas. Sarva Mangala Krishna Nama Pr being the pujari, arranged for everything. Prasanna Gauranga Pr supplied all the necessary things for abhishek. And the Deities came from Vraja Krsna Pr and Rasa Priya Gopika Mataji's (my sister's) house. Guru Maharaja went inside, and changed his kurta, and put on his cardar, and came in. Gopati Krsna Pr started to recite Brahma Samhita and all the servants started Kirtana, and joined the festival. 

Guru Maharaja personally did abhishek for the Deities, and one by one servants came and joined Guru Maharaja and bathed Sri Sri Radha Madhava. Then at last Guru Maharaja did arati and completed the abhishek. Then again we started the temple visit. Now we also got links through Subhanga Govinda Pr -temples in Assam. 

Guru Maharaja covered, Hyderabad, Medchal, Gwahati, Tirupati, ICC Bangalore, Perambur, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Tirupalai, etc. Around 12:10 we ended all the sessions. And Guru Maharaja took his breakfast. There are details on Guru Maharaja's twitter posts. Guru Maharaja was giving short messages about each visit in his app, and Twitter instantly through Haridasa Caitanya Pr. Then we also took Prasadam. And came back Sarva Mangala Krishna Nama Pr was feeding Guru Maharaja. Then Guru Maharaja went to bed at 2am. I was there until 3am in assisting night shift and came and slept by 3:30am. For sure, I know that I can't wake up tomorrow early for Srila Prabhupada Vyasa-puja. As I am extremely tired. But, because of this busy schedule, I didn't feel the fasting. It was really wondeful Janmastami to be with Guru Maharaja, celebrating along with him. The whole atmosphere was different. I couldn't write more, as there were many more details to add. Guru Maharaja wil be giving class tomorrow for Janmastami, so we requested him to go to bed earlier. But, somehow, it became night 12am. Jaya Radha Krishna Prabhu read out the verse for tomorrow and he read the purport also. Then Guru Maharaja said, "I will be the second speaker, the first speaker will read the verse, translation and purport. So when I begin I will read only translation. And give class." Then Haridasa Caitanya Prabhu came and asked Guru Maharaja about Sarvajaya Madhava Prabhu's Janmastami Celebration on Zoom, and his request to broadcast it on Guru Maharaja's channel. Then, Guru Maharaja said, "He can broadcast until I give a class tomorrow morning! As devotees in USA, Canada will get benefitted and I am not using it during night." And we all said, "Happy Janmastami!" And Guru Maharaja slept. As I have to be there for morning recording and broadcast Maha Varaha Prabhu asked Sarva Mangala Prabhu to take care of the whole night shift with yhr help of Haridasa Caitanya Prabhu. 10/AUG/2020 @ Sri Mayapur, India

I woke up at 9:30am and took shower and got ready, then Srivatsa Syama Sundara Prabhu said, that Guru Maharaja will give recording for Janmastami messages now. Initially I told him to record, then I thought, better to go and do it - as many days we were waiting for this recording.

And, when I entered the glass room, Jaya Radha Krsna Prabhu was reading the Janmastami Mahatmya from different scriptures - and from Hari-bhakti-vilasa mainly. Guru Maharaja was asking to get different references. And we were preparing and setup the video camera etc. Then at last, Guru Maharaja came to give the recording, we did in Bengali, English and Spanish. Guru Maharaja was super tired, when he was doing Spanish, so he did the short one.

Then Guru Maharaja asked about the BRC emails that he sent out. And there was a discussion about Bhaktivinoda Vani Vaibhava. And I told Guru Maharaj, "If you permit and promote, the DIGITAL GAUDIYA project, we can complete the whole Gaudiya scriptures into digital searchable text in 6 months time with the help of Bangladesh and all the Bengali devotees. We have to do mass marathon." Guru Maharaja wanted to know, all the writings of acaryas and their instructions, pastimes and history. Then I left to do my works.

Again in the evening Guru Maharaja had the MEB meeting, Covid Meeting. Then began Caitanya Lila class. At the end of the class, we show devotees who attends the Class. And by seeing them, Guru Maharaja feel so much happy. And devotees also feel very happy. Today one Mataji was there and her name is Krishnaa. And Guru Maharaja said, "This is Draupadi's name. Like this some very few seconds of interactions, and few seconds of darsana makes the devotees super joy!!!

After that, Guru Maharaja took his dinner and joined Medinipur Namahatta Zoom session. Over 250 participants and more than 2000+ devotees where present in this session. The session ended at 10pm. And I asked Guru Maharaja, " You are too tired! Today you should sleep by 11pm" Guru Maharaja said, "Before 11pm." And he came and took his jot milk, and then nebulization. And was watching some news updates, watching on Covid-19 in America, Singapore, etc. Then Jaya Radha Krsna Prabhu was called and he started to read Janmastami glories, what was the previous births of Vasudeva, Devaki and Rohini, etc. And, by 11:15pm Guru Maharaja went to bed. I told Guru Maharaja, "If you sleep and take nice rest, then tomorrow morning you wil be fresh." Guru Maharaja slept... His body is too tired. But, he is not. (Personal diary - Syama Rasika dasa)

Last night, I was helping Sarva Mangala Krishna Nama Prabhu and Haridasa Caitanya Prabhu in their night shift. After many months I am doing shift, so many new things to learn... So, I was just assisting them. The time is packed, there is no free time for Guru Maharaja.

After completing Zoom session with Chile devotees Guru Maharaja came to his room at 10:20pm. And, he had his hot milk, and he watched world news for 30mins - mainly on the updates of Covid-19 pandemic. And before watching the news Guru Maharaja said, "I get strange dreams and it disturbs me." Like last night he had dream like he hot slipped from the hill cliff. And, another night he had a dream of going on a boat and suddenly a giant crocodile attacks him. And he fights with that giant. So, I said to Guru Maharaja, may be please avoid watching these news at night, because they show all the tragedy things, like the aircraft goes into two half, Beirut explosion, etc. But this is the only time, Guru Maharaja gets to know about - what is going on around the wold. 

And there was a second argument and thoughts that, it is not Guru Maharaja's fault. As I heard from Guru Maharaja earlier, when his disciples do sinful acts - Guru Maharaj have to suffer and getting disturbed sleep is also one of the suffering for the sins that disciples commit.

And, then Guru Maharaja was taking nebulization - before going to bed. This will take 30mins. At that time, Jaya Radha Krishna Prabhu came to read sastra - tonight he read from Hari-bhakti-vilasa, about the mahatmya of Janmastami vrata, also he read from Padma-Purana - the glories of Radhastami.

Guru Maharaja asked, in 18 Puranas - which are in sattvik, rajasic and tamo? And Jaya Radha Krsna Pr read, Sattvik Puranas: Padma, Bhagavata, Garuda, Narada, Visnu, and Varaha.

And, before Guru Maharaja went to sleep, we played Narasimha mantras to get rid of any negative energies - so that Guru Maharaja may get a undisturbed sleep at least for 4 hours. He went to bed at 12:10am. (Personal Diary - Syama Rasika dasa)

Today third day of His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaja's smarana utsava. I went up to Guru Maharaja... He asked me, "What do you want?" I said, "Guru Maharaja, as you have completed Passing of Haridasa Thakura's pastime. So today evening, what would you to continue?" And Guru Maharaja said, "We will continue the drama!" Then, I took leave from him and went to do my work.

And around 10am Radharamana Sevaka Pr called me as there waz a Zoom meeting about His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaja's samadhi, and where it would be, and what will be rules of Government on that day, etc was discussed with Guru Maharaja. Also, there was a discussion about Vaisnava samadhis. The meeting went up to 11:20am. Then Guru Maharaja took his pre-lunch Prasada, and joined a smriti-sabha of disciples and well-wishers from Australasia. Maha Varaha Pr said, one disciple very much thanked Guru Maharaja for his continuous prayers for Srila Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaja! " like this there were question and answers etc.

Then in the evening Guru Maharaja took part in the TOVP-E presentations and meeting from 5 to 7 pm. After this meeting, he attended the Smarana utsava of Maharaja via Mayapur.tv. Guru Maharaja was listening to every Disciples' glorification of Maharaja and cheering, and shouting in happiness, crying, weeping, etc. And, at 8pm suppose to start the Caitanya Lila class. And I went and informed Guru Maharaja. And he was ready to come, so I went to the glass room and prepared for the class and waiting for Guru Maharaja, but he didn't come. Then I went to see Guru Maharaja, he was still watching the program, and Guru Maharaja said, "Last speaker Vaninatha!" He was listening to Vani natha Pr (Maharaja's personal cook). Guru Maharaja was very much encouraging their glorification. It was almost 8:30pm. Bhakti Vijaya Bhagavata Maharaja came and asked, "Where is Guru Maharaja? Today no class?" I said, "Guru Maharaja will come after hearing Vaninatha Pr!" And finally at 8:40pm. I went and told Guru Maharaja, "It is 8:40pm! It is too late for the class!" And I saw all the servants sitting with Guru Maharaja and everyone mesmerized in hearing Maharaja's pastimes. And, finally Guru Maharaja came to give class. But, still he was not able to come out of the separation. Guru Maharaja was telling that, Bhakti Caru Maharaja teaching us what the separation pain is.

I said, "Guru Maharaja will come after hearing Vaninatha Pr!" And finally at 8:40pm. I went and told Guru Maharaja, "It is 8:40pm! It is too late for the class!" And I saw all the servants sitting with Guru Maharaja and everyone mesmerized in hearing Maharaja's pastimes. And, finally Guru Maharaja came to give class. But, still he was not able to come out of the separation. Guru Maharaja was telling that, Bhakti Caru Maharaja teaching us what the separation pain is. 

I am not much with Guru Maharaja, but I am just keeping a note of what is happening during my presence and interactions for my future memory. If I get any information from other servants then I will add that also here. (Syama Rasika dasa - Personal Diary)

Guru Maharaja very much missing his dear Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaja very much. His separation makes Guru Maharaja more and more make him remember him.

Today morning Maha Varaha Pr and team pit up the newly arrived hospital bed for Guru Maharaja. It seems it is very comfortable for for Guru Maharaja - compared to the previous old bed. As Guru Maharaja was complaining about the discomfort. But, due to this Lockdown we were not able to get it on time. But, Madhava Kanta Pr made a endeavor and got this bed from Mumbai. Somehow, by Lord's arrangement one bed order got cancelled. And this was given to us. Due to Covid-19 it is extreme difficulty to get any medical things.

Today morning Guru Maharaja address Malaysia devotees - who organized His Holiness Bhakti Caru Maharaja's smriti sabha. And after that Guru Maharaja addressed the devotees over Zoom about Bhakti Caru Maharaja and answered their questions, and also listened to their glorification.

Prasanna Gauranga Pr (Guru Maharaja's cook) asked Guru Maharaja that, he will prepare some items for Bhakti Caru Maharaja to offer this evening. And Guru Maharaja asked, what is he planning to cook. And he said, "I will make a Calzone, sweets." And Guru Maharaja asked him, "How do you make Calzone?" He replied, "I will make with wheat flour, and stuff with olives, etc."

And Guru Maharaja was happy yo hear, and he made it and brought to show to Guru Maharaja, by seeing those offerings Guru Maharaja was in very deep ecstasy started to weep in separation from Maharaja. And Guru Maharaja personally touched it and send it for Maharaja's offerings. 

When I came for the class, Prasanna Pr shared this with me. And Subhanga Govinda Pr said, "Guru Maharaja was continuously crying the whole evening listening to the glorification of Bhakti Caru Maharaja happening in Prabhupada Samadhi Mandir. And almost three and half hours he was not able to bare this separation."

 Guru Maharaja gave class on Passing of Srila Haridasa Thakura's pastimes from Caitanya Caritamrita, Antya-lila. Three days back when he heard the news just before his Caitanya Lila class, he was like hit by a thunder. He couldn't digest this news. That evening, it was total silence, when Maha Varaha Pr got the news from Guru Gauranga Pr (BCSM) that Maharaja left this world. He immediately ran to Guru Maharaja and informed him. At that time, devotees were reading Bhagavad-gita recitation for Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaja. And Maha Varaha Pr was trying to communicate this to Bhakti Purusottama Swami Maharaja, who was in yhr Gita recitation. And, when he got this message he immediately came up to the Lotus building. And Guru Maharaja asked to call Subheksana Pr (MAC) chairman, Guru Maharaja asked to call Bhakti Vidyapurna Maharaja to come and guide in this situation. Controlling all his emotions Guru Maharaja taking the responsibility as a head of the family/society instructed the managers, what they have to do. Then immediate MAC meeting was called for. And in that, Jananivasa Pr, Bhakti Vidya Purna Swami Maharaja, Gauranga Prema Swami Maharaja, Bhakti Purusottama Swami Maharaja every one participated. Guru Maharaja joined through Zoom and decided that, as a first step, they will call the devotees and assemble them in temple, and different seniors will first pacify the devotees with the philosophy and glories of Maharaja.

And Guru Maharaja then addressed the devotees along with Jananivasa Pr, Subhag Swami Maharaja, Bhakti Vidyapurna Maharaja, Bhakti Vigna Vinasa Narasimha Maharaja, Bhakti Purusottama Swami Maharaja. And after this meeting somewhat everyone felt little better in this chaotic situation. Everyone's words given a strong mental support.

Before this meeting, Maha Varaha Pr connected Guru Gauranga Pr (BCS) over phone, and he was crying and was talking to Guru Maharaja. He thanked Guru Maharaja for all his help and support. He calls Guru Maharaja as Acaryapada! He said about the passing of Maharaja, there was a devotee Prana Govinda Pr who was there next to Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaja and he was reading different prayers like Gajedra Moksa, Brahma Samhita etc. And when chanted Panca-tattva pranama Maharaja had bright smiling face. So, he was also telling that initially there was discussion to bring Maharaja's vapu to Ujjain. But, due to Government restrictions they couldn't get permission. But Mamata Banerji's Government being very supportive and understanding the culture of Bengal tradition. They given permission. So, Maharaja's samadhi will be made in Mayapur. We all felt that, this is Lord Panca-tattva's arrangement, that Maharaja's samadhi will be made in Mayapur.

And, Maha Varaha Pr received a call from Pundarikaksa Govinda Pr, Juhu, Mumbai. He said, when a marble company heard the news about Maharaja's disappearance, where Maharaja purchased marble for Ujjain temple constructions, they came forward and offered the service to give marbles for Maharaja's Samadhi. And Pundarika Pr said, since I worked with Maharaja, I know his taste in selecting marbles. So, please give me this Seva of constructing the samadhi of Maharaja in Mayapur.

Like this that evening was unforgettable in the pages of ISKCON. 

I didn't write for quite long time, so I am mixing up what happened on 4th evening here in this diary. 

Today, after finishing the Caitanya Lila class, Guru Maharaja was going to his room. He asked me, "What do you think?" I said, "I think you are tired, you need rest." He laughed and said, "Yes! I am tired." And I said, "You mentioned that, while Srila Prabhupada left this world, he couldn't leave in the presence of Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaja, Tamala Krsna Maharaja, Bhavananada Pr. And in the same way, Srila Prabhupada sent you to Mayapur that day morning!" Guru Maharaja said, "Yes! Srila Prabhupada doesn't want to leave this world, in front of everyone." It takes some more days or weeks for Guru Maharaja to come out of it. (Personal Diary - Syama Rasika dasa)

10/MAY/2020 - Sri Mayapur, India

(10/MAY/2020 - Sri Mayapur, India) Today morning Guru Maharaja had a TOVP-E meeting from 8 am to 10 am. Then there was a Zoom session with Malaysia devotees from 11 am to 1:30 pm. Before Guru Maharaja's class, I told Guru Maharaja that, "Today is Mother's Day!" And we all other servants started to list transcendental mother personalities - like Saci devi, Yasoda, Devaki, Sumitra, Kausalya, Rohini, Aditi, Putana, etc... And Guru Maharaja said, "Jaya! Jaya!"

Then before Zoom meeting we made Deva Gauranga Prabhu to speak about Guru Maharaja, and he shared few pastimes of Guru Maharaja in Bengali and I translated it into English. Then Guru Maharaja came and joined the meeting.

Last two weeks, I and my sister Rasa Priya Gopika read Srimad-Bhagavatam for 30 mins over phone. So, when we were reading today from 4.20.21, purport Srila Prabhupada saying the following:

[...] Just today we have seen in the newspapers of Bombay that the government is going to repeal its prohibition laws. Ever since Gandhi’s noncooperation movement, Bombay has been kept dry and has not allowed its citizens to drink. But unfortunately the citizens are so clever that they have increased illicit distillation of liquor, and although not being sold publicly in shops, liquor is being sold in public lavatories and similar abnormal places. Unable to check such illicit smuggling, the government has decided to manufacture the liquor at cheaper prices so that people can have their supply of intoxication directly from the government instead of purchasing it in public lavatories. The government failed to change the hearts of the citizens from indulging in sinful life, so instead of losing the taxes they collect to inflate the treasury, they have decided to manufacture liquor to supply to the citizens who hanker after it.

This kind of government cannot check the resultant actions of sinful life, namely war, pestilence, famine, earthquakes and similar other disturbances. Nature’s law is that as soon as there are discrepancies in regard to the law of God (which are described in Bhagavad-gītā as dharmasya glāniḥ, or disobedience to the laws of nature or God), at once there will be heavy punishment in the form of sudden outbreaks of war. We have recently experienced a war between India and Pakistan. Within fourteen days there have been immense losses of men and money, and there have been disturbances to the entire world. These are the reactions of sinful life. The Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement is meant to make people pure and perfect. If we become even partially pure, as described in the Bhāgavatam (naṣṭa-prāyeṣv abhadreṣu), by development of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, then lust and greed, the material diseases of the citizens, will be reduced. This can be made possible simply by broadcasting the pure message of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, or Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Big commercial and industrial firms have contributed many thousands of rupees to a defense fund that burns the money in the form of gunpowder, but unfortunately, if they are asked to contribute liberally to advance the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, they are reluctant. Under the circumstances, the world will periodically suffer from such upsurges and outbreaks of war, which are the consequences of not being Kṛṣṇa conscious.

So, she said, we have to read this out to Guru Maharaja as it is what currently going on in our world. Then, today the Covid-19 meeting started little late 5:50 pm. And I went and said to Guru Maharaja it is late, then Guru Maharaja said, "The afternoon shift servants didn't wake me up. I asked them to wake me up at 4:30 pm, but they let me sleep till 5:10 pm. So everything got delayed." Guru Maharaja was upset, and I asked the afternoon shift they said, Guru Maharaja was too tired after morning meetings, and Zoom session - so we let him sleep. Naturally we all want him take enough rest.

And there was a discussion about 1000 Kg rice donation, and Guru Maharaja was thinking about other temples in Navadvipa and Gaudiya Mathas - how to reach them some grains to support their Deity worship and devotees prasadam. So, he asked to look into it. And Guru Maharaja was very much stressing on the social distancing while doing Food Relief. And in the meeting Aloy Govinda Prabhu said, "From Kerala one train is coming in few days with all the labors to Krishna Nagar, they are coming back to their villages. So there may be possibility of Covid-19 patients. So, in order to be safe, we will avoid the villages, we will follow the Government's advice." So, Guru Maharaja even was worried about the people who are coming back to their villages, if they are leaving their jobs and coming back means - they won't be having money - so how will they eat with out money? And who will provide them food? During their Home lockdown? Like this, the topic was discussed until 6:30pm.

Then before Guru Maharaja coming for the Caitanya-lila class, I read him the purport and Guru Maharaja laughed and said, "Send this Jagatguru Jayadeva Pr to read it during the Mangala arati announcement." Then Guru Maharaja started his Caitanya lila class. Today's class was filled with so much ecstatic scenes. He was vibrating while speaking. And being next to him, whenever he get into that ecstatic mood, he will see me and his eyes were filled with tears of ecstatic love... He was super ecstatic when he read that Lord Gauranga and vaisnavas was in ecstasy for two days continuously... and there was a storm and the translators were sitting in the rain and translating and Guru Maharaja said, "I will stop my class here!" and he said, "I can't continue anymore!" Because he was not able to control his feelings and love for Lord Gauranga.

After the class I came to down to our room. And tonight Zoom session will be for Sri Rangam, Trichy and Turaiyur devotees. We decided that Vrajesvara Gaura Prabhu will translate the class into Tamil. Usually he will be there for all the classes. So, I didn't go to the class. Then suddenly Srivatsa Syama Sundara Prabhu came to our room and said, "Guru Maharaja is waiting, you have to come for translation. As Vrajesvara Gaura Prabhu is not there." Then I went, it was very nice class, and more than 90 families Guru Maharaja blessed and visited. Devotees welcomed Guru Maharaja with Purna Kumbha, Arati, Garlands, Prasadam, Deity darsana. It was extremely blissful. In most of the houses they offered Murukku, Mangoes... And Guru Maharaja said, "I am eating so much but no calories. It is all love calories!" Janaki Ramacandra Prabhu and Srivatsa Syama Sundara Prabhu said, "Guru Maharaja doing this Zoom sessions are really an austerity. We are seeing many offering, prasadam, but we are not getting any prasadam!" And Guru Maharaja laughted.

Then after the zoom session, Guru Maharaja was very tired. He was completely wiped off. And he went to his room, and while going Guru Maharaja said, "Today's Caitanya Book session is wonderful! And ecstatic!" I said, "We never heard these pastimes Guru Maharaja!"

"Guru Maharaja! You are looking too tired" I said. Guru Maharaja was in ecstasy he repeated the same, "Lord Caitanya was in ecstasy for two days... and the Vaisnavas came to give him more ecstasy!" and he was in ecstasy not feeling his bodily tiredness. And I said, "During lock down many are taking rest. But you are working more!" Isvara Puri Maharaja Prabhu said, "Guru Maharaja doing so much preaching! And travelling in this lock down - than in the normal days!" That is true... Guru Maharaja continuously every single day - meeting devotees, and giving class, attending meetings, answering emails... My God! His dedication to Srila Prabhupada with the mood of Lord Nityananda, flooding the world now. (Personal Diary - Syama Rasika dasa)

(9/MAY/2020 - Sri Mayapur, India) Today I joined in Guru Maharaja's service by Covid-19 meeting at 5:30pm. In today's meeting Guru Maharaja discussed a topic, which made me very much astonished.  He asked Aloy Govinda Prabhu, "Now Muslims are observing their Ramadan fast, so there may some poor Muslims, so for their iftar breaking, can we give some kitchidi? They can take the kitchidi and keep it in the afternoon and eat during iftar." Guru Maharaja is not seeing they are Muslims or Hindu, no differentiation, he was just thinking how to keep the Navadvipa Mandala dhama-vasis with no hunger.

Then the team said, "The wealthy Muslims sending the iftar to all the poor Muslims. So we no need to give them or spend money in giving them food."

Guru Maharaja said, "Then we give them Gur, cida, fruits. Because when we give them grains, they might cook non-vegetarian. But if we give them fruits and Gur and Cida (offered) then they will eat at least some Krishna-prasadam." Aloy Govinda Prabhu said enthusiastically that, "We will do it!"

Guru Maharaja's mood and vision was very different and every single ideas and thought are always out of the box. So, after this meeting Guru Maharaja gave a wonderful class on Lord Gauranga's Balarama Meditation. 

Then after class, I asked Guru Maharaja about Zoom session for Namahatta, Bangladesh, Gita Course, Chatra Samaj, etc. And Guru Maharaja said, "For Namahatta Mala Cakra Senapati, Maha Cakra Senapati, Cakra Senapati lever devotees district wise will meet him as participants, and rest will watch online. And for Bangladesh there are five divisions, so each one will get one day - 300 families can participate, rest will be on Facebook live. And he said, "I want to meet all of them during morning sessions."

Sabta Hari Prabhu making training sessions for 120 ISKCON leaders on Digital preaching. So, he sent his report, and I played that audio message to Guru Maharaja. And Guru Maharaja thanked him. And tonight Guru Maharaja will be having a zoom session with Secunderabad devotees. (Personal Diary - Syama Rasika dasa)

(8/MAY/2020 - Sri Mayapur, India) Another day with Guru Maharaja in lock-down. I am here with Guru Maharaja but I am not much being next to him - whenever he calls or if there is any service then I be with him. Rest of the time, I am busy with Archives and Publications services.

Today morning there was a first EIDC Meeting over Zoom. It was inspired by Guru Maharaja to the EIDC members to take training and use the Zoom (technology) to conduct meetings. And they did it today, Bhakti Vijaya Bhagavata Maharaja was the chairman, and Madhava Kanta Prabhu was the secretary. So, I was there in the meeting with Guru Maharaja to control the camera and sound. But after some time, when they were little bit struggling with Zoom controls, Bhagavata Maharaja made Guru Maharaja as Host and I was assisting Bhagavata Maharaja. So there were 56 participants and there was discussion about festivals and preaching. And everyone was happy with this Zoom session, and they decided to do this very frequently so that many agendas can be discussed. All glories to Guru Maharaja! 

The meeting was over by 12:15pm. And Guru Maharaja was free for sometime, we requested Guru Maharaja for some video recordings - but he was tired so Guru Maharaja was just relaxing. So, I asked Guru Maharaja, "May I show you our website works, and Caitanya Book artworks?" Guru Maharaja said, "Okay!" Then I showed him our new website www.jayapatakaswamiarchives.net - in which we are introducing the interactive transcript technology. We made some sample with Srila Prabhupada's lecture - and I showed to Guru Maharaja - he liked it very much; previously he saw this website and gave comment only on the appearance, not in detail. But this time by Lord's mercy got a chance to explain him. Then when I open Srila Prabhupada's lecture (which was only 5 mins), Guru Maharaja started here and read the transcription with full absorption (as usual). So, he liked it very much. It was a lecture on sannyasa ceremony. And Guru Maharaja asked me, "Do you know whose sannyasa ceremony was that?" I said, "I don't know!" Then Guru Maharaja also listened to his 1980s lecture - and there Guru Maharaja was narrating a story about the fisherman's basket and how a grhastha invite this fisherman to his home and get the fishy smell of that basket. And Maha Varaha Pr was there, and Guru Maharaja every was laughing listening to that story.

Then I showed the paintings of Adi-lila of Sri Krishna Caitanya Book that was done by Rasikananda Prabhu. And Guru Maharaja was discussing about some points for some paintings. In one painting where Sacimata was blessing Laksmipriya on the Ganga-ghat, Guru Maharaja said, "Laksmipriya looks small girl!" Then I said, "She may be 8 or 10 years old at that time. As in those days they were married when they were young. Mahaprabhu may be was 14 years when He got married. As per the books and your lecture." Then Guru Maharaja said, "Okay!" Next painting was Jagannatha Misra giving Upanayana mantra to Lord Nimai. And Guru Maharaja said, "Lord should be shown with saffron cloth, but here He is in yellow!" So, we need to do that change. Then Guru Maharaja say, Vidyarambha painting of Lord Nimai, and said, "There should be a plate (bamboo plate) with rice mixed with kumkum, in that Nimai will write KRSNA! and Aksaras!" So like by Lord's mercy I got this unexpected appointment with Guru Maharaja. 

Then Guru Maharaja was telling that we need to have a Zoom session with West Africa - Bhakti Tirtha Swami Maharaja's disciples and Guru Maharaja's disciples. This session got already scheduled by Maha Varaha Prabhu in this week. And Guru Maharaja said, "As Maha Varaha Prabhu to get South Africa, Durban, Capetown, etc." Maha Varaha Prabhu, "Already scheduled Ghana, Nigeria! He will add South Africa! And everyone will get separate sessions with Guru Maharaja." Guru Maharaja's caring for Bhakti Tirtha Maharaja's disciples are very much in deep love for his beloved Godbrother Bhakti Tirtha Maharaja.

Guru Maharaja took his lunch and took his afternoon rest. And woke up at 4:30pm - and Jaya Radha Krishna Prabhu started the Prabhupada memoir review session with Guru Maharaja. Meanwhile, after our lunch I and Maha Varaha Prabhu went to all the rooms, where Guru Maharaja's servants are staying. As Purandara Krishna Prabhu fell down two days back and got a hairline crack in his wrist, and Haridasa Caitanya Prabhu fell down two weeks back, and recovering form his leg injury. So, we went to visit them, also to check their rooms, and their needs.

And by 5:30 pm there was Covid-19 Food Relief meeting, as usual today also Guru Maharaja was very heavy. When Guru Maharaja saw a video of today's reports He was telling that, the villagers are not following any social distancing, we have to make them understand that how much it is important. If they are not following then you should say, until then we won't serve prasadam. Don't serve everyone prasadam, this is not prasadam distribution program. This is Food-relief program - we have to give prasadam to the needy. And if someone want to honor prasadam then serve them in donna separately. Like this Guru Maharaja was giving instructions. And Guru Maharaja very much stressed the point that we have to serve prasadam inside Navadvipa mandala. And he asked Aloy Govinda Prabhu measure 10 miles radius from keeping Mayapur as center. As per Srila Prabhupada's instruction we have to serve prasadam at least the first 10 mile radius first. And actually if Guru Maharaja would have been healthy - he would have gone personally to distribute prasadam during this Pandemic situation. That much force emanating from him during this Covid-19 meeting. So, the meeting made the class delay today also. So the class started at 6:30pm.

As usual today the Caitanya Book topic was very special. Lord Caitanya in Balarama's mood asking for honey! Guru Maharaja relished the class very much. After the class Guru Maharaja took his dinner, and he came for the Zoom session - today it was with Russian Bhakti-vrksa leaders, Maha Varaha Prabhu and Janaki Ramacandra Prabhu was managing this meeting. Angira Gauranga Prabhu was hosting the session from Russia, and here Narayani Radha Mataji was helping in translation. Maha Varaha Prabhu said, it was very nice session, Bhakti-vrksa leaders asked very nice questions. And there was a devotee (Radhanatha Swami Maharaja's disciple) showed her painting and seeing her work, Guru Maharaja asked her, "Are you interested to help me in Caitanya Book artworks?"

So, I went to be with Guru Maharaja before he goes to bed, and Guru Maharaja was ewatching a news channel where Trump was speaking, then after that there was a program in thatt a scientist was explaining about his research on dragon-flies. How their wing got a power to disinfect any bacteria. And the scientist was testing and making some pattern based on dragon flies wings and creating some medical stuffs to prevent bacteria. Guru Maharaja said, "How much Krishna is intelligent! He kept an anti-bacterial pattern in Dragon-flies wings!" "I LOVE YOU KRISHNA! I LOVE YOU MORE AND MORE!" Then like this, Guru Maharaja was telling how glorious is Krishna's creations. 

Then Isvara Puri Maharaja Prabhu said, "I saw a Korean Movie - there they are showing how a person was going through seven hells. And the graphical works were impressing." And I said, "We will crop that portion and will show to you Guru Maharaja!" Guru Maharaja was very much mediating on the content of TOVP-Exhibits - on how to present Srimad-Bhagavatam using best CGI and graphics, technology. So, in this way around 12 midnight - Guru Maharaja went to bed. (Personal Diary - Syama Rasika dasa)

29-30/JAN/2020 - Siliguri, India

(29-30/JAN/2020 - Siliguri, India) Today morning Guru Maharaja was on the TOVP-E meeting. As my sim card got corrupted - I went with a devotee to Airtel showroom, but when I went our vehicle tire got puncher and I got stuck for nearly 1:30hrs. When I came back, Guru Maharaja was doing Parikrama of the temple and visiting the smriti Navadvipa tirthas... Guru Maharaja visited Sita Rama temple and was there for longer time praying to Hanuman, the greatest servitor of Lord Rama. Then like this, he did Arati to all the Deities in each small temples. Then he got back to his room and had his lunch.

Today evening there is going to be initiation ceremony for 100 devotees from different parts of North Bengal and Nepal. And Mani Gopal Pr was doing the final checks, and reporting to Guru Maharaja. It was scheduled around 6pm. After lunch Guru Maharaja took rest and got ready, on the doorstep there were many devotees; as today is Sarasvati Puja, even there were so many local public crowd. Before leaving the room, a devotee came with his son to do Vidhyarambha, and Guru Maharaja was holding his had wrote "Krsna" "Rama" and made him chant. Then from Gangtok one mataji came to take Guru Maharaja's darsan, she travelled for 9 hrs, just for the darsana of Guru Maharaja and go back. Her name is Durga. Guru Maharaja gave her shelter and she was in tears when Guru Maharaja said, "From today you are my spiritual-bhedi" (spiritual daughter). And Guru Maharaja blessed her daughter Sonam by touching her mobile. Then from Melbourne two three devotees took shelter via video call. Madhava Kanta Pr was organizing all these things at the same time.

Then Guru Maharaja came out, but the temple management didn't organize any security or discipline way for Guru Maharaja to go to temple. There were many devotees and servants and some local temple brahmacaris and youths were trying to make Barry gates and control the crowd. But, still it was very hard. And finally we lifted Guru Maharaja to the temple hall. And Guru Maharaja took darsana of the Deities and offered ghee lamp. Compared to Bangladesh Siliguri temple is not even 5% organized in crowd management. In this way, Guru Maharaja reached the initiation hall. 

Devotees did a short Pada-puja and Guru Puja performed by the president Akilatma Prabhu. After that, Guru Maharaja gave nice class on the importance of the Holy name through the Ajamila uddhara. Then, Guru Asraya and initiation began 100 initiation was completed very fast. Then, Guru Maharaja went to his room and again one more Vidhyarambha he performed. And blessed the kid. Then Guru Maharaja took his dinner.

And night shift devotees Dvarakesvara Pr abd Nitai-lilaraja Pr joined. We heard from Radharaman Sevaka Pr in the morning that, at 2:30am Guru Maharaja vomited, and got diarrhea. And he went to bed at 3:30am. Again, at 4:30am diarrhea and went to bed at 5:30am. And slept until 8am. He was too tired.

Maha Varaha Pr and Ekanatha Gaura Pr were saying that, it is because Guru Maharaja is not following schedule. He is not eating on time, or resting enough. And stretching himself for devotees. And more over the effect of accepting so many disciples karma.

I went to see Guru Maharaja at 9am. He was taking a light breakfast Haridasa Caitanya Pr was feeding him. There was a Maharaja from Siliguri Gaudiya Matha named Bhakti Nilaya Janardhana Swami, he was there when Guru Maharaja on the first day also, he was there with Guru Maharaja offering lamps and in Guru Maharaja lectures and in Guru Maharaja's room. Guru Maharaja asked him when he met him, "How are you Maharaja? And how is Matha?" Etc. And he invited Guru Maharaja to visit the Matha on his way to Airport. Guru Maharaja said. "I will try!" 

Today, due to Guru Maharaja's health (diarrhea, vomit) he was very weak. So, Maha Varaha Pr suggested that, better to avoid going to Janardhana Maharaja's Matha and take some 30mins rest. But, Guru Maharaja was very much wanted to go there otherwise Maharaja will be very sad. When Maharaja heard that Guru Maharaja can't go due to his health reasons, Maharaja started to cry. And Maha Varaha Pr fell at Maharaja's feet and requested that, this time we avoids this program - Guru Maharaja will come during his next visit to Siliguri. And Guru Maharaja was not able to sat anything to Maharaja; and everyone of us was standing on the one side saying that, Health is more important so better to rest. Somehow we convinced Guru Maharaja and made ly-down on the bed. But, he didn't sleep; he couldn't sleep. It is already 11am. Guru Maharaja flight is at 1:40pm. So, Maha Varaha Pr took the servants and luggage bags to do check-in in advance. And told us that bring Guru Maharaja to airport; and if Guru Maharaja wants to visit the Gaudiya Matha then tell him that, he can be inside the car and take darsan and reach airport as early as possible.

Dr. Acaryaratna Pr gave two tablets to contract diarrhea Guru Maharaja took that. We told Guru Maharaja that, please take rest; he was restless, and we said, we will visit Gaudiya Matha on our way to airport. Then his face got changed and with full blossom, he said let us start now.

He asked me in the morning, "Are you coming with me to Delhi?" I said, "No! Guru Maharaja we are going to Mayapur by train. And will come to receive you in Kolkata Airport on First?" And Guru Maharaja asked, "what time is your train?" "4pm" Guru Maharaja said, "Testa Torsa?" I said, "I don't know - Madhava Kanta Pr booked the tickets and we are 7 seven devotees going." Guru Maharaja used travel frequently before so, he knows the train names etc. So Testa Torsa Express is the name of the train that leaves at 4pm. But, I couldn't understand that train name until then we miss this express.

Then Madhava Kanta Pr, Deva Gauranga Pr, Radharaman Sevaka Pr and I went with Guru Maharaja in the car, usually Guru Maharaja keep his legs on the front seat; as it will take 1:30hrs to Airport - we requested Guru Maharaja to keep his legs on the front seat. But, Guru Maharaja said, "No! Ask Maharaja to sit on that seat." Guru Maharaja was conscious of every single thing. 

Then Maharaja got in, and I was reading some emails that Radharaman Sevak Pr asked me to read. And Guru Maharaja answered back. Then dictated some replies. And like this after some 45 mins we reached the Matha. Guru Maharaja stayed inside the car and did the Arati to the beautiful Deities. And blessed the devotees and left from there to Airport, and we returned from there to ISKCON Siliguri. 

This Bhakti Nilaya Janardhana Swami Maharaja was serving in Mayapur Gurukula before. But, he is from Gaudiya Matha. And his guru called him back to manage the Matha. So he left ISKCON service. But, he had such a respect for Guru Maharaja that, after his guru left this world, he accepted Guru Maharaja to be his main siksa guru. And even on the altar, we see the picture of his Guru and then Guru Maharaja's photo. Janardhana Maharaja was very happy that Guru Maharaja visited the Matha. Guru Maharaja somehow fulfill everyone's spiritual desires. 

Now we are heading towards Mayapur. And day after tomorrow we will go to Kolkata to receive Guru Maharaja to Mayapur. (Syama Rasika dasa - Personal Diary)

28/JAN/2020 - Thakurgaon to Siliguri

(28/JAN/2020 - Thakurgaon to Siliguri) Today morning everybody was busy in packing their luggage bags. And, Guru Maharaja also got ready by 10am. Maha Varaha Pr told Guru Maharaja, "You sleep very late like 12:30am, 1am. But, you get up on time at 4:30am for Mangala-arati. Why don't you sleep also on time at least at 11pm." Guru Maharaja trying to use as much as time in the service of Srila Prabhupada.

Devotees slowly started to get crowded outside, and some of the devotees were waiting in the living room. When Guru Maharaja came out there was huge commotion for taking blessings. And somehow, Guru Maharaja got into the car. And Guru Maharaja said, I am going ahead for the Bangladesh Leaders meeting (National Committee Meeting) where all the presidents assembled. Which was held in Shonar Bangla Resort. And, as Guru Maharaja was leaving, the devotees started cry, the tears were rolling down, old, young, child, woman, men, every one was crying, "Guru Maharaja left us, when we will get his darsana again!!!! When we will get his darsana again!!!" I was out there to click some pictures. And one Brahmacari crying and crying and hugged me and started to cry. Seeing his affection for Guru Maharaja, I also started to cry... Immediately I went inside and told Maha Varaha Pr. And he came out, and asked everyone not to cry, but to chant Narasimha Pranam. So, the all started to sing and cry... Bhagavan... Bangladesh is filled with love and bhakti for Guru Maharaja.

And we also loaded all the luggage into a van and went to the resort, and Guru Maharaja was talking in the meeting. And soon after the meeting Guru Maharaja came out and along with the leaders he took a group photo. Then immediately we left from that place toward the border. As the border get closed by 5pm. So we rushed. 

Guru Maharaja took his lunch in the car. And, we reached the border by 3:30pm. And the passport works took around one hour time. And because of Bhakti Vinaya Swami Maharaja's relationship. The Bangladesh border security force allowed Guru Maharaja and vehicles to go until Zero Point. And there ISKCON Siliguri temple president Akilatma Pr came with a car and Guru Maharaja got shifted from this car to India car. And, we all walked to the India border. And Guru Maharaja was blessing all the military polices, both in Bangladesh and India. Then we started from the Fulbari Border to ISKCON Siliguri. On the way Guru Maharaja stopped in a Namahatta Center headed by Visvajit Pr and blessed the devotees and drove to Siliguri temple. Here also, there was lot of devotees welcomed Guru Maharaja with lamps, and nice flower rangolis. When Guru Maharaja entered the room still devotees were waiting outside Guru Maharaja's room as there was an announcement that there will be a Pada-puja. But Maha Varaha Pr completely disagree to this. And, sent the devotees back. But, Guru Maharaja heard this, and said, "I am ready to accept the Pada-puja - whoever the devotees are there let them do." Then, Maha Varaha Pr explained Akilatma Pr to explain Guru Maharaja that, Guru Maharaja need rest after this long journey by car. Tomorrow before initiation we can do Pada-puja so that all the disciples will get to see. Then Guru Maharaja agreed. But, actually Guru Maharaja was not even having strength to lift his head up; as he was wiped out due to this travel. And more over due to the post mega initiation effect. And Ekanatha Gaura Pr somehow made Guru Maharaja to go to bed. As soon as Guru Maharaja went to bed, he slept, it was 6:30pm. 

And we told everyone that, as much as gm want he can sleep. He need rest. And we all took Prasadam and went to our rooms. And at 8pm Akarsaka Caitanya Pr said, Guru Maharaja woke up. Then, I asked the locals when will the Deity Darsana get close, they said by 8:30pm. And I asked Akarsaka Caitanya Pr, will Guru Maharaja go for darsana, he said, "Just now Guru Maharaja woke up. So no chance." So, I went to room.

At 8:25pm I heard loud ulu-dvani immediately I understood that Guru Maharaja is now going for darsana. So, I took the camera and ran, and we lifted Guru Maharaja to top with his wheel chair. Guru Maharaja offered lamps to Sri Sri Panca-tattva, Sri Sri Radha-Madhava and Srila Prabhupada. Ekanatha Gaura Pr started to sing Harinama. Guru Maharaja did Parikrama three times and came directly and began the class. I was expecting these things, so I was prepared with camera and recorders. Unfortunately we were not able to connect to internet; due to poor connectivity. So we couldn't put Facebook live.

Then Guru Maharaja explained in his class about, how this Siliguri temple design manifested from Guru Maharaja's heart. How the temple planned as per Navadvipa. The big Sri Sri Radha Madhava Sundara and Panca-tattva temple represent Antardvipa, Lord Siva's temple represent Rudradvipa, Narasimhapalli - Laksmi Narasimhadeva temple represents Madhya Dvipa, Jagannatha Temple represents Simantadvipa, and Sita Rama Laksmana temple represents Modadrumadvipa. Like this eight small temples around the main temple. We can understand that this temple manifested from the heart of our beloved Guru Maharaja. At least at 9:30pm Guru Maharaja reached his room and took his dinner. We were all tired. But, Guru Maharaja even in this tiredness, his energy was super powerful. (27/JAN/2020 - Thakurgaon, Bangladesh) Last evening Krishna Kirtana Pr said he wants to meet Guru Maharaja for five mins and talk. So, I asked him to come at 9pm. Krishna Kirtana Pr is one of the suddha-vaisnava, who is living among us. He is Guru Maharaja's disciple from 1978. And the pioneer in Bangladesh preaching, helping Guru Maharaja from 1978. Whole Bangladesh is addicted to his Kirtan. And he is the person who can sing Narottama dasa Thakura, and such Gaudiya acaryas' songs in their mood. And his team perform Kirtan for ten to twelve hours non-stop and 10,000, 15,000 people will be sitting stunned. So, his preaching, his words, language, devotion everything is very high standard.

So, he came at 9 am to see Guru Maharaja at his residence. Guru Maharaja was in the TOVP meeting, so it finally ended at 10:30am. Then, I said to Guru Maharaja that, "Krishna Kirtan Pr is here to meet with you for five mins." Guru Maharaja said, "Okay bring him in." He came inside and offered his obeisances, he is 70 years old. With the help of a devotee he stood up, Guru Maharaja asked him in loud voice, "What is your blood sugar now?" We all laughed and Prabhu said, "I tested my sugar long back?" And Guru Maharaja laughed loudly. Then, Guru Maharaja asked him, "What do you want? Why you wanted to meet me?" Prabhu replied, "Prema Bhakti Chat! Prema Bhakti bins aar kichu chai naa!" "I want Prema Bhakti, apart from this I don't want anything." Guru Maharaja again laughed and said, "Prema Bhakti! I also... Prema Bhakti bina aar kichu chai naa! Aar kichu chai naa!" It WS very, very ecstatic moments to be in midst of the Vaisnavas and their conversations. Krishna Kirtan Pr asked, "Apnaar sarir lemon ache?" "How is your body?" Guru Maharaja replied, "Now a days I am not thinking about my body. To think and worry I got my secretaries and disciples." And Guru Maharaja laughed. Prabhu said, "I have one request, when you spoke other day on the stage about Koran, you said, Allah-o-akbar means Satyam Param Dimahi. But, whatever we say, some Muslim people take it in wrong meaning and make give some disturbance. So, please don't say anything about these people; they can't understand what you are talking!" Guru Maharaja said, "The leaders appreciated!" So the conversation went on that line... And exactly after five mins - Krishna Kirtan Pr stood up and said, "I asked for five mins - it is over. I don't want to waste your valuable time anymore." And Guru Maharaja and Prabhu took a photo and left.

It is late again today. Then we rushed to pandal. Guru Maharaja got into the car abd I went to give a camera to Radharaman Pr and Guru Maharaja touched my Sweatshirt and he said, "How are you feeling, is it good? It withstands the cold?" I said, "Yes Guru Maharaja!!!" And, Guru Maharaja said, "You can come in this car!" I said, "I will record video sitting in the police van. And Radharaman Pr will do from you car." His merciful glace was so powerful that day. Hr was just anointed with love in his eyes.

Guru Maharaja took darsan of Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha Jiu. And did three times Parikrama and when he was on the parikrama Marg, he just raised his hands and thousands goes in ecstasy crying "Haribol!" So, just to give mercy to the devotees who are waiting for Guru Maharaja, he went on Parikrama. Then went up on the stage, and started the class. In the beginning of the classg Guru Maharaja said, "Those who doesn't want to go back to Godhead they can get up and walk away from this Diksa ceremony!" And he made his point very clear that, I want all the initiated disciple to preach Lord Gauranga's Vani. After the lecture, we got drone camera from Dacca to record some shots. And I told Guru Maharaja that we will record a short clip inside the pandal. Guru Maharaja said, "Is is safe? It should harm any devotees!" I said, "we will be careful; please bless us." Then Guru Maharaja said, "Okay!" Then we did fly inside the pandal, and made it.

Guru Maharaja initiated 450 candidates first, then he went for lunch. And the Yajna was performed during hi absence. After his lunch Guru Maharaja had a small nap, and came out did an annaprasana, and blessed a couple and went to the stage to continue the Diksa ceremony. I, Haridas Caitanya Pr and Kirtan Priya Pr went to Krishna Kirtan Pr's stage to record a song that he wrote newly on Guru Maharaja. This is the first time they are going to sing on stage. So we went and was almost one and half hour went. Then, we got a message that Guru Maharaja completed the initiation, and he is calling Krishna Kirtan Pr and team to perform Kirtan on the other stage. Then we packed all the camera and recordings and ran to the other pandal, and saw that more than 20,000 people standing, and Guru Maharaja singing Mangalacarana. And, exactly before he started the class, I did the setup and started the recording. Guru Maharaja wanted to address the public. He spoke a mild philosophy and made them all chant. Then he said, now Krishna Kirtan Pr will sing for you. 

And Krishna Kirtan Pr said to me, I and my team want to sing a song that I wrote on Guru Maharaja for five mins. I told Maha Varaha Pr, he said, "Five mins okay! But tell Guru Maharaja and see what he says!" I said to Guru Maharaja, "He said okay!" That was a boul song. They started and the crowd was slowly going crazy, and Kirtan Priya Pr started to dance on the stage. Then slowly one by one servants joined and danced, Ekanatha Gaura Pr, Maha Varaha Pr, Madhava Kanta Pr, Akarsaka Caitanya Pr, Maha Puran Pr everyone started to dance, breaking the ice... And they danced like mad person. Then again one more song started... Again everyone danced... Danced... And danced... The whole crowd was dancing... The glories of Guru Maharaja and, after the song, Guru Maharaja stood up and chanted Gauranga! And crowd went even more wild... Every single person couldn't control themselves... I was not able to manage my cameras, as every where devotees and public dancing... And power went off in between, and the whole crowd started to chant Gauranga! Gauranga! The vibration that makes your heart beat high!!!! And, Guru Maharaja's presence. And kindly allowed Krishna Kirtan Pr to sing these two songs.

Guru Maharaja was happy seeing his kids happy singing and dancing... Like this the most highlighted hours of this Bangladesh visit is this evening. Tomorrow we are leaving back to India. (Syama Rasika dasa - Personal diary)

(26/JAN/2020 - Thakurgaon, India) Today morning Guru Maharaja got ready earlier. But, somehow or other things got delayed and Guru Maharaja left to the pandal around 10:30am. There were some police guards came to take blessings from Guru Maharaja. And, one couple came and asked for a blessing to beget a child. And Guru Maharaja asked them to follow Putrada Ekadasi in order to get a child.

Today also Guru Maharaja will initiate around 931 candidates and 120+ brahmana Diksa. So, Madhava Kanta Prabhu left early to pandal to filter more devotees. He rejected almost 68 devotees. But, still 120+ devotees passed the exams. They all got their Bhakti-sastri completed. And we were discussing that, we have to make it more tuff for the candidates to get brahmana Diksa even, by making Bhakti Vaibhava compulsory. There was one Mataji who got initiation many years back, now she came to take Brahmana Diksa, but she didn't complete her basic reading quota to take Brahmana Diksa; but she said and the devotee leader who recommended her also said, by six months time she will complete the reading. Guru Maharaja really got angry and said, "All these years she didn't read books, now she says in six months will complete. I don't believe anymore!" And got rejected. So the Diksa tests were made much more strict.

But, somehow the initiation class, and accepting Guru Asraya itself became 2pm. So Maha Varaha Pr and everyone requested Guru Maharaja to take his lunch and then give initiations. Guru Maharaja agreed. Wherever we went we saw thousands waiting for Guru Maharaja's darsana. Devotees, non-devotees standing for three hours, four hours just for that momentary darsana. And Kirtana Priya Pr and I were discussing that, how much we are not taking advantage of Guru Maharaja's association. 

Kirtan Priya Pr fed the lunch today. Guru Maharaja was saying "Hiranyakasipu! Hiranyakasipu!" And said, "Srila Prabhupada gave the name Ravanahari to one of his disciple. So, I can also give a name Hiranyakasipu-hari." And, we requested Guru Maharaja to go to bed and rest for at least 30 mins. The yajna was going on as per the instruction of Guru Maharaja. Guru Maharaja said, "The Diksa candidates can complete the yajna and take prasadam and take initiation." Being merciful, he said these words. So, exactly after 30mins Guru Maharaja got up, we were dressing him up, and when I took a hat from his sweatshirt packet, some money was there that fell off and Guru Maharaja said, "Srila Prabhupada told me that, " I have to always keep some money with me!"" Then got ready and went to pandal started the initiation program.

When Guru Maharaja went to pandal we were interviewing some devotees, leaders, and Krishna Kirtana Pr's team's performances on the other stage. After the initiation, Guru Maharaja went to hall where 120+ brahmana Diksa candidates were assembled. And, Guru Maharaja spent around 50 mins to give them all mantra and a sacred thread. When, he came out from that hall, some twenty boys were standing outside to take blessings. These twenty boys were working day and night for this initiation office. Guru Maharaja blessed them all.

Then we started from there to our residence. While we were leaving the pandal, we heard a song "Jayapataka Jayapataka Bole Dako re, Emon doyala bhave keho nahi re! Keho nai, keho nai, keho nai re! Emon Doyala bhave keho nai re!" written and sung BT Narasindi temple president Prahlada Krishna Pr. And we were all singing that song for 30mins until we reach our destination.

Somehow, we felt that, we are in "Jayapataka Loka" where everyone and everything is connected with Guru Maharaja. Everyone's focus is to take his darsan, hear from him, talk about him, sing about him... So the total vibration was complete echoing Guru Maharaja's glories. Even in every shop, they got Guru Maharaja's picture. It is like a intoxication - we were just seeing these devotees with so much joy, enjoying every hour they wait to see Guru Maharaja. When they see him, some cry uncontrollably - and, when his wheel chair pass through, men, women everyone roll on the ground and take dust from that place and pack it for their home. It is simply a rewind button to be in Bangladesh, some 500 years back, how the Caitanya Caritamrita says; same experience can be felt here.

Caru Candra Pr said, these many people from where they are coming... When they heard Guru Maharaja is here, thousands and thousands appear in this village. Actually, deva, devis descending here and coming to be part of this utsava. We may think that he is exaggerating; but it is not. In this small village, and thousands comes - just for his darsana. Unbelievable and inconceivable.

Dharesa Pr said, when he was discussing with Bhakti Vinaya Maharaja about the arrangements in this village for this festival. Maharaja said, "Here many Muslim farmers are there, when I said, " Guru Maharaja is coming! They said, "We will make a big mela, and do not worry Maharaja!"" So, they provided land to do parking, land to make pandal. They worked more hours and helped Maharaja! Even the Muslims they want to see this festival to be big - because Guru Maharaja is coming. 

And only Guru who visit this part of Bangladesh, which is completely surrounded by villages. And a poorest part of Bangladesh is only our Guru Maharaja. He visited here first in 1988, 1990, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2006 installed Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha. And in 2008 he came with Safari. Now, after twelve years he is here in 2020. So, this place is very significant.

In a day, 4000 kilos of rice being cooked and fed to all the devotees. 60 devotees - a cooking team cooks non-stop. There are 5000 steel plates, and 5000 devotees can sit and eat, that big pandal. And you can eat how much ever you want. And there is no delay in serving, cleaning plates, and rechecking the plates, everything was organized wonderfully. And, rice and dhal are all from the direct harvest from the Thakurgaon village. The farmers just coming with their crops and dumping in the kitchen, and set of devotee cutting the veggies and cleaning, set of devotees simply cooking and cooking and feeding the devotees three times a day. This Ananda-utsava is really amazing. And Gauranga Prema Swami Maharaja said, "This is Maha Bhakta Ananda Mela!" I am not able to type more, so I am stopping here. (25/JAN/2020 Thakurgaon, Bangladesh) Guru Maharaja got ready to go to the pandal. But, as we heard that, still the initiation preparation is going on. So, Guru Maharaja left from the residence at 11:30am. There was two escort police vans with Guru Maharaja. And, I left early at 9am in order to cover the activities and see how the audio systems are there etc. There are two main stages with big pandal setup was there. One for initiation ceremony and another one for public program and for the devotees night stay. And, one more big pandal for devotees Prasadam, where at one shot 5000 devotees can eat. Apart from this, there was lot of shops for locals to shop, like tulasi beads, cloths, books, etc. And at a time 100 devotees can take bath, such an arrangement.

Today 930 devotees will take Harinama initiation. Day and night interviews were conducted and many got rejected, and filtered. At last 930 candidates got approved to take Harinama Diksa. Devotees were making flower rangolis, and securities were managing the crowd, making Barry gates for Guru Maharaja, over all everyone was just looking at the direction where Guru Maharaja is going to come. And thousands were just entering into this village Thakurgaon for Guru Maharaja's darsan.

Guru Maharaja car entered the Thakurgaon village, and both sides there were devotees for nearly half a kilometer or more. And flower showered, the car was struggling to move as devotees were just like honey bees surrounded the car. Police and securities were just trying to move and clear the way for Guru Maharaja's car.

And His Holiness Bhakti Vinaya Maharaja was present at the temple gate to welcome Guru Maharaja. When Guru Maharaja got down, Caru Candra Prabhu offered a garland made of pop-corn. And this was made by Madhavi Nandini Mataji from Dacca. Bhakti Vinaya Maharaj did a simple Arati to Guru Maharaja and welcomed him. Guru Maharaja took darsan of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Gauranga, and Prabhupada; offered ghee lamps and went to pandal. While coming to pandal through out the way there were devotees and Public, simply was waiting to have a few seconds of darsana. They were waiting from morning 8am. Almost 5 hours of waiting just to see few seconds. Guru Maharaja got up on the stage, the whole atmosphere was resounded with ulu-dvani and hari-dvani. His Holiness Gauranga Prema Swami Maharaja, His Holiness Bhakti Priyam Gadadhara Maharaja was present. There few books got released. From Victory Flag Publications we released "Bhagavad-sevar Rahasya" a new Bengali book. Namasudha a small hand book also got released from Chittagong.

Guru Maharaja gave an address before the initiation ceremony. Then the initiation began Maha Varaha Pr was calculating how much time, it is taking to give out beads for 100 devotees, and he was with a stopwatch. And, Guru Maharaja said, for each devotee I give bead, I will chant one maha-mantra. But it took more than two hours for 450 initiations.

Then there was a break and Guru Maharaja went to take his lunch and a nap. Meanwhile the yajna was conducted. Guru Maharaja had his lunch, and a short nap. Then got ready and came back to the stage and resumed the initiation. And after completing 930 initiations Guru Maharaja came to room and refreshed and went to the stage for his evening program @ 7pm.

The evening pandal program was packed with more than 15,000 people. There were some ministers, and political leaders were there. Some are Muslims still they were there. And Krishna Kirtan Pr's team was performing lots of Kirtan and bhajans through out the day, and in the evening they were doing baul-sangeet. When Guru Maharaja came up to the stage and started his lecture. In his lecture, he explained about "Allah-o-akbar" which is nothing but a "satyam param dimahi" so, like this he started to could common things between Muslim religion and sanatana-dharma. And he also said the Buddhi-manta khan pastime. The crowd was totally there for Guru Maharaja. After the speech, the dignitaries came to Guru Maharaja and paid their respects. And some even touched Guru Maharaja's lotus feet and took blessings.

Then Guru Maharaja left the stage. We all packed our things and got into the car. The crowd started move out from the pandal towards Guru Maharaja's send off. Guru Maharaja understood it and he immediately went back to the stage and sat there to listen other's talk. And again all the crowd came back to pandal. Each dignitaries glorified Guru Maharaja and Bhakti Vinaya Maharaja. The whole session was extra boosting. Then completing the whole program Guru Maharaja left from the stage. (24/JAN/2020 Thakurgaon, Bangladesh) Morning no one was able to wake up, as we are all tired of the whole day journey, and due to the climate. If normal, healthy, young people are tired means what to speak of Guru Maharaja? Morning shift devotees woke up Guru Maharaja at 5:30am and gave him medicines and gave rest again. Maha Varaha Pr knowing this, he didn't keep any program. But, still many devotees couldn't take darsan of Guru Maharaja last night and due the request of Jagat-guru Gauranga Pr, Maha Varaha Pr agreed for one hour darsan. And it got planned to be in the ground which is just opposite to the residence. The darsan was scheduled at 12:30 to 1:30pm. But, somehow, things got delayed. And Guru Maharaja came at 1:20pm, just by hearing the news that Guru Maharaja going to give darsan devotees and villagers gathered in that ground, almost 2000+. 

I went and paid my obeisances; seeing my sikha - Guru Maharaja said, "Syama Ra-sikha! Syama Ra-sikha! Sikhs!" And was making fun. Then, Guru Maharaja came to the ground and gave half an hour class. In the class he narrated the Suvarna Vihar pastime, and chanted Gauranga! Gauranga! It was simply outstanding. Then after the class, he released a book; and blessed few devotees and came back to the residence at 2:30pm and started his lunch.

In the evening Maha Bandhu Gopal Pr got some sweatshirts from Dacca. And in that he got two sweatshirts for Guru Maharaja. And he asked us to try it out and Guru Maharaja can wear it.

After the dinner, Guru Maharaja was little free, so I asked Guru Maharaja to give a short message for the Panca-krosa Parikrama - which is going to be tomorrow. Guru Maharaja said, "Okay!" Then we were just trying to get ready to record. Maha Varaha Pr and Ekanatha Gaura Pr entered the room and Guru Maharaja started to talk with them. Then, Maha Varaha Pr started to clear the gifts that all kept in Guru Maharaja's room. He asked to pack all the gifts in one baggage and send it to Mayapur. And he saw the sweatshirt and Guru Maharaja wanted to trial it. First one he did, but the size was small. Then the second one did try, and it was very good, but was tight. But, Guru Maharaja liked it. So, the one which was not fitting for Guru Maharaja given to Ekanatha Gaura Pr to trial it. And he said, it is too lose for me. Then, everyone asked me to try it. And it was very fitting. And Guru Maharaja started to adjust it, and said, "It is very nice for you. You have it! I got same kind and color of sweatshirt in Mayapur." I didn't agree with Kirtan Priya Pr when he told me that take some sweatshirt. But, now Guru Maharaja is gifting me.

And the discussion was about Trump's Impeachment. Guru Maharaja was telling, how that person talking nice about him at the same time he says, "Trump should be removed!" Then Ekanatha Gaura Pr said, "How during his rule, there is no war, and the dollar value increased." Then Guru Maharaja took milk and went to bed. Tomorrow going to be the hectic day, 900+ initiation and evening pandal program, etc. I couldn't type much, as I am too tired and couldn't remember much, and falling to sleep.
