(06/AUG/2014) - Sri Mayapur Dham
Today morning I went to Mangala Arati and chanted my rounds and went to see Guru Maharaj, he was connected with his internet phone connection 'Vonage' and he was talking with Sakshad Hari Prabhu and Sri Sakti Mathaji. When I entered into the room, Guru Maharaj said, "Here is Shyama Rasika" I was happy to hear Guru Maharaj call my name and it is very sweet and wonderful to hear it every time. And he gave the phone to me to say "Hare Krishna!" I said, first no, but he said, 'Speak'. Then Guru Maharaj said that, he will call one by one devotees in America, who are under Sakshad Hari Prabhu's Bhakti-vriksha preaching. And as per the list given by Sakshad Hari Prabhu, we started to call one by one. First number we called, no response so Guru Maharaj recorded his Message "After the beep sound." Then Second number, Rajeswari Mathaji, She didn’t pick up, again Guru Maharaj recorded voice message. Third call we tried, it was Gopikanta Pr and Kalindi Priya Mathaji, THEY PICKED UP… And Guru Maharaj said, "This is Jayapataka Swami Speaking…" That's all they cracked, and surprised, and exploded in over joy, and they were just doesn't know what to say… and Guru Maharaj gave them blessings. Mathaji asked Guru Maharaj, "What made you to call us…" Guru Maharaj said, "You are very, very dear to me…" And then Guru Maharaj was telling about his diet, and the ayurvedic doctor was with him giving medicines. And the mathaji also talked over phone about this diet, and she said, "You come here Guru Maharaj we will feed you nicely…" And everyone was laughing… then doctor also laughing… then she said, "But don’t bring that doctor here Guru Maharaj!!!" Again, everyone in the room and doctor also was laughing and laughing… Later doctor said, "I think around the world everyone going to beat me for giving this diet."
Then next Guru Maharaj called Maha Guna Mathaji, and he was speaking about some fight offer etc. Then she said, "Guru Maharaj! I am hearing as normal as you were before stroke. Your voice is crystal clear." Guru Maharaj said, " the beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!!" like this Guru Maharaj spend his half an hour in phone calls. Then got ready and took his prasadam and 9:30am there was meeting with Anuttama Prabhu and Pragosh Prabhu with Guru Maharaj. When they entered, Maha Varaha Prabhu asked them for their breakfast. And Pragosh Prabhu said, I took my breakfast, and Anuttama Prabhu said, "No! I didn’t take." Maha Varaha Prabhu asked, "shall we serve you?" He said, "It is alright!" Then Maha Varaha Prabhu said, "It is Idly, South Indian dish!" He said, "WOW!" Then after the meeting, we served him prasadam, inside Guru Maharaj room. And he asked Guru Maharaj, "Maharaj! Have you taken your breakfast?" Guru Maharaj said, "Yes! I take special diet." Madhava Kanta Prabhu said, "It is like kitchidi." Then Guru Maharaj said, "It is not kitchidi, it is kanji, boiled liquid rice." Then Guru Maharaj went to bed, and Anuttama Prabhu was still taking his breakfast. And he said, "Everyday, His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj was giving us lunch feast, But, I was thinking, without Jayapataka Maharaj's feast, my trip to Mayapur is not complete. Now It is complete, by taking Prasadam here, now, I will go back to USA happily." And Guru Maharaj said, "First day, I will give feast in future, and rest of the days, Bhakti Caru Swami can give." Then Anuttama Prabhu said, "Oh! it is your studio room, from here you are attending meetings! Wow!" Then he left for meeting… And Guru Maharaj joined through Video Conference. In the meeting hall, Janankiram Prabhu was doing the panning and controlling the Video, and with Guru Maharaj, Myself and Acintya Caitanya Prabhu, who was repeating Guru Maharaj's talk over microphone.
Then Guru Maharaj got up and went to Lotus Conference hall to attend the meeting personally at 12:30pm. Then after meeting he came back to his residence and took his lunch and took rest. As today is the last day, and there is no afternoon session, Guru Maharaj went to bed peacefully and rested. And at evening 5:30pm His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj, Advaita Candra Prabhu, Gopijana Vallabha Prabhu and Nanda Vraja Prabhu met Guru Maharaj. And Guru Maharaj was waiting for them, during that time, Guru Maharaj doesn't want to waste time, he asked me to record the question number #19. And this question was too tricky, but it is one of the simplest question. If we hear that question or read it three are four time. Then there it is possible. And the meeting was about purchasing a 44 seat; small cruise to fulfill Srila Prabhupada's desire. And have regular trip on Ganges. The meeting went for 45mins. It was wonderful meeting, Guru Maharaj said, "Before stroke he went New Zealand to see some speed boats, and that time he was driving that boat at 55knots. (Later Maha Varaha Prabhu also explained that in detail, as one of the Prabhupada disciple in LA shared during Guru Maharaj's visit this time.) When Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj entered the room, he immediately came and hugged Guru Maharaj, and while going back also he hugged Guru Maharaj and with so much of love. Then by the end of the meeting His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj said, "I will bring my boat, 6 seater from Kolkata to Mayapur. we will make a trial run. And in that first trip, I will take Jayapataka Maharaj in that ride." Guru Maharaj raised his hands, and asked, "When are we going???" Everyone laughted…
Then Guru Maharaj met, Madhava Narasimha Prabhu and Madhava Latha Mathaji, who are leaving Mayapur and going back to Kovalam, Kerala. And also Kaunteya Prabhu and his wife joined in that meeting… And at that time, I took the Ayurvedic Doctors to Jhulan Yatra Pandal to show them the festival, and Guru Maharaj came down and took darshan of deities and came to Jhulan Yatra pandal. As Janakiram Prabhu said, "When Guru Maharaj entered that area, His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj's car was blocking Guru Maharaj's car. Immediately Maharaj, himself came in front and was making was by clearing the crowd and helping Guru Maharaj to get in…" Who can describe their wonderful qualities. Simply amazing. Godbrothers, Gurus… but they are always in serving mood…
Then Guru Maharaj went and made Sri Sri Radha Madhava swing, swing, swing, we all took part by touching the rope, when Guru Maharaj was doing Jhulan. And it was very, very wonderful decoration and arrangements. Then His Grace Jananivas Prabhu came down from the Jhulan stage and gave one pot of Maha Prasadam in Guru Maharaj hand, which fruits. Guru Maharaj was looking around and within a second, he took one piece and put inside his mouth, then he ate it. We were all watching him. And he left the pandal, and got into the car. I said to Guru Maharaj, "Everything is recorded Guru Maharaj! We saw you were taking that fruit…" Then Guru Maharaj said, "What can I do? They gave Maha Prasadam, what to do in front of Maha Prasadam. So, I ate it." And Everyone was laughing… Then Guru Maharaj said, "Don’t tell this to doctor. Ussshhh!"
He reached his residence and took his dinner and he met one family from Hyderabad, whenever we go to Hyderabad one devotee, he serve a lot. He is Guru Das Prabhu, disciple of Romapada Swami Maharaj, he recently got married, so he came to take Guru Maharaj's blessings. Guru Maharaj blessed everyone in their family, and the girl is Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj disciple. And Guru Das Prabhu's sister is Guru Maharaj disciple. And Guru Maharaj said, it is inter-united-spiritual-family. Acintya Caitanya Prabhu said, "Spiritual-Join-Family". Then Guru Maharaj was speaking with that girl in Bengali, and he asked what do you know in cooking, then she said, few items, and she said, "I don't know much, few items I can." Guru Maharaj said, "When, I come there, you make one sabji for me." Guru Maharaj just win everyone, by his care, and affection and mercy. And it was 10am. Morning 7am till night 10am, wonderful association. The day was simply, wonderful. I missed many to mention here. Thinking that this itself too long. And it is late. Guru Maharaj's glories has no end….
