Today morning I went to Guru Maharaj's
flat and he was taking his breakfast. As there is a class at 12 pm for
Namahatta devotees in Ratha-yatra pandal ground Guru Maharaj was hurrying to
complete all the morning activities as early as possible. But he was too
tired.
And Madhava Kanta Prabhu was assisting Guru Maharaj to select names for the initiation ceremony; which is going to be on 5th July in Kolkata in front of Sri Sri Radha-Govindaji. And Guru Maharaj went to take his shower, and he called me and asked about the contest... And morning shift devotees Deva Gauranga Prabhu was giving the answer to the question and he asked Guru Maharaj, "Is that correct Guru Maharaj?" Guru Maharaj remain silent for few mins and said, "Send your answer to Jpssecrets@gmail.com." And we all laughed...
Then we got into the car and rushed to
pandal. And His Holiness Bhakti Purusottama Swami Maharaj was giving Jagannath
Katha, more than two thousand people in the pandal. When Guru Maharaj entered
the whole scene got suddenly got the of uludhvani and haridvani. Devotees just
got enthused by seeing Guru Maharaj. Then Bhakti Purusottama Swami Maharaj
concluded his class. And Guru Maharaj was on the Vyasa Asana.
Guru Maharaj started to speak on Srila
Bhakti Vinoda Thakura. The whole class was silent. In that 30mins class Guru
Maharaj said, "Lord Nityananda started this Namahatta in Surabhi Kunja and
then again it was reestablished (punar sthapana) in by Srila Bhakti
Vinoda Thakura. And with the blessings of Srila Prabhupada and all his God- brothers,
I did again, re-reestablishment (punar-punar-sthapana) of Namahatta." When
he said that, it was continuous uludhvani and Haridvani in whole pandal for 30
seconds. And Guru Maharaj sang first few lines of Nadia Godrume Nityananda
Mahajan song and asked the devotees to sing the full song. Then Bhagavad Kirtan
Prabhu sang the whole song. And Guru Maharaj was crying in ecstasy hearing the
song. Who can understand him? It is said that one cannot understand
Guru-Tattva. It is true... He is not belong to this world... Really wonderful
moment.
Then Guru Maharaj went to Gundicha
Temple Pandal to take Lord Jagannath Darshan. Before Guru Maharaj, His Holiness
Bhakti Chart Swami Maharaj was taking Darshan. Then they met on the path way.
And hugged and was in so much of happiness. I just clicked 50 to 60 photos in
that moment. Guru Maharaj said, "I was waiting for you." And Maharaj
said, "Sorry! Maharaj!" And they were taking for few mins. And then
Maharaj left to Namahatta Pandal to give lecture as they were waiting for him.
Guru Maharaj entered the Altar and offered fruits to Lord Jagannath, Pineapple,
Cherry, Mango etc in on bag. From the day one, Guru Maharaj offering every day
something to th Lord. Guru Maharaj said, "we should not go empty hand to
see the deity. Always we should have some offering, flower, Tulasi or
fruit." I remember last year, when we were coming to this same pandal
program. Guru Maharaj was in the car and we were rushing to reach 9:00pm last
darshan of Lord Jagannath in Pandal. And Guru Maharaj asked us have you got any
fruits; we said, "No!" Then we were looking for shop to buy some
fruits. But it was raining heavily. The vehicle stopped in on traffic signal;
one man came with Juee flower garlands and knocked the car glass. Where Guru
Maharaj was sitting, he was completely wet. Guru Maharaj said, "buy
immediately three garlands." We purchased the three garlands. And it was
such an amazement. If the pure devotee desire; the Lord supplies it. No where
he came... With garlands. So today, I was also thinking that, I should try to
take something to offer to the Lord. Acharya the live by their example... (In
silent) Srila Acharya Pada ki Jai...
Then after darshan Guru Maharaj went to
Yajna Pandal and gave anna prasanna to two babies. While giving the sweet rise;
sometime Guru Maharaj give his thumb to kids for sacking. As Kavikarna Pura got
Lord Caitanya's mercy by sucking the toe of the Lord, these kids get the mercy
of Guru Maharaj to get the mercy of Lord Caitanya... Then one baby was not yet given
name, but six months passed. So they asked Guru Maharaj to give some name. Then
Guru Maharaj meditated and asked to write down; 1. Ram 2. Rasatma 3. Tamal
Krishna 4. And 5 I Don't remember. And then we reached the flat by 2:30pm. Then
Guru Maharaj took his lunch along with giving darshan to Bhakti Vriksha
devotees one by one. And he went to rest around 4:30pm. Then I also left to
Servant's flat to take rest.
And in the evening Guru Maharaj went to
Guru Sadhai Building for legal meeting on Kolkata Temple. I didn't join him.
Then I heard Guru Maharaj again went to Pandal at 9:00pm to take personal
interview of the initiation candidates. Then I was waiting for him in his flat
at 10:30pm. But he reached at 11:15 pm. I went to help devotees. They gave me the
chance to get him up to 8th floor from the car. He was chanting Gayathri. We
was completely wiped out. Not energy at all. I asked him, "Guru Maharaj
have completed your Gayathri?" He didn't speak. He just nodded his head,
Yes!. Then he got out of the car; and while he getting down, he was saying,
"Who was that.... got the mercy of Lord Caitanya?" He gave me the
next question for the contest. And we took him to his flat. And I was reading
one by one the answers written by devotees. While reading some wrong answers
Guru Maharaj laughing and laughing... Totally we received answers from 27
devotees, Guru Maharaj said, we should mention it in Facebook. And we put him
on bed. And he again started to laugh by thinking those wrong answer. I should
not reveal that wrong answer; if I do, everyone will laugh...
24 hrs is not enough for our beloved
Guru Maharaj. Everyone just get attracted by his pure love for Srila
Prabhupada! The dedication to Srila Prabhupada! Every min he is thinking how to
deliver a conditioned soul? Fortunate to be with my Spiritual master...
