Today I got a blessings to serve our
beloved Guru Maharaj many hours. Morning I woke up at 7:30am and went and took
bath. And chanted few rounds before Guru Maharaj darshan. Even though Guru
Maharaj was in next room. I thought I should not disturb him.
Before leaving from Mayapur Maha Varaha
Pr added me in the second shift. After two and half years officially I am
serving Guru Maharaj in this afternoon shift. 8 hours we have to be with him;
in his service. I was really wonderful.
Morning Deva Gauranga Pr called me
that, Guru Maharaj calling me; he want to give next question. He was very much
enthused with these Mercy Contest. And I was holding Guru Maharaj and Guru
Maharaj asked for the answers to read out. I asked Deva Gauranga Pr; in front
of Guru Maharaj with full confidence he said a wrong answer. Then Guru Maharaj
Started To Laugh. Immediately he changed his answer and gave the right
answer. Then I started to read the answers sent by different devotees. And Guru
Maharaj made a plan to post answers...
Then Dr. Shyamlal pr and our Mayapur
Doctor came and did the treatments; checking his health etc. Then they
started to give instructions to he followed in Guru Maharaj's health. But Guru
Maharaj's argument was different. Guru Maharaj asked the doctor,
"How long it will take to get rid of this? How long I have yo be here in
Kolkata? Why not this rest can be obtained in Mayapur? Like this so many
questions and Dr. Shyamlal pr was patiently answering all his questions and try
to convince Guru Maharaj to stay here in Kolkata for 4 days. Then Guru Maharaj
said, "I was told by Prabhupada to be in Mayapur, he asked me to
take Indian Citizenship to be in Mayapur; then he pointed out me and
said, he put a quote, Remain in Mayapur. Then why I have to be here? In Mayapur
no Malaria; but Kolkata is famous forn Malaria. So we will go to
Mayapur. More than anything, I am not able to see the deities. Here in
Kolkata Temple Radha Govinda is in the first floor. And to go to temple; I have
to get into the car and go there climb up the stairs to take darshan is very
difficult." Like this Guru maharaj was going on and on to the same subject.
I want to go back to Mayapur.
Then at last again Dr. Shyamlal pr
somehow gave answer to all his pleading and convinced Guru Maharaj to be here
for another 4, days with the support of Maha Varaha Pr and Ekanath Gaura Pr.
Then at last Guru Maharaj gave Nrsimha
Oil to doctors. Then Dr. Shyamlal pr asked Guru Maharaj for blessings for his
9th wedding anniversary. Guru Maharaj blessed him; and also he wanted to give
his mercy to Dr.s wife over phone. But he was not able to connect it. Anyhow,
Guru Maharaj was very much pleased... At 2 am Guru Maharaj tool his lunch.
From Chennai girls group some devotees
came to see Guru Maharaj. In that two Mathajis had personal appointment with
Guru Maharaj. So all the servants sent our from Guru Maharaj's room. But Guru
Maharaj called Giriraj Charan pr to be there with him; who doesn't understand
English. So the meeting went on for an hour. Then Guru Maharaj went to bed. But
due to coughing he was not able to sleep. Somehow managed to sleep.
Again in the evening Guru Maharaj was
taking some treatment given by doctors. Them Guru Maharaj walked 142 steps with
elbow cruyches. It was really wonderful to see him walking. The
Guru Maharaj went to bed at 11:00pm. Then I started to read Caitanya
Caritamrita; he was hearing and hearing it touched 12:15am. As Dr.
Shyamlal pr left back to Mumbai, after four years again Dr. Achyuta nanda pr
came to Guru Maharaj's flat. So I took him to Servant's flat to take rest. So,
I am also here.
I am just making my lengthy diary
short. I am falling a sleep. I am not able to type. There might be
several mistakes. Over a Guru Maharaj is...
