Today morning at 11:30 am I went to
Guru Maharaj's flat. As he was getting ready to go to Swimming pool for exercise.
Ruci-rangata pr, Deva Gauranga Pr, Panchajaya Kesava Pr, Dharesh Pr, Rasaraj
Gopal Pr and Bk.Tulasi Ramana accompanied him. So I went to Chandini Chok in
Kolkata for getting few electronic items for Archives.
And Guru Maharaj returned back to his
flat after walking 400 steps inside pool at 2:40pm. Myself and JanakiRam pr
also reached back from our purchase. Guru Maharaj came and before lunch I got
some few mins alone with him in bathroom. And I requested him to take one month
rest in Coimbatore and take Ayurvedic treatment instead of staying in Mayapur;
as herein Mayapur you will get continuous visitors, devotees who always have
their own needs, and they can't be without seeing you; managers will always
come to meet you; co-directors will always have some issue to be solved; always
there wil be some emergency meeting; and more than that in Mayapur everyday
some festival will be there. After saying all my points; I said,
"ultimately you are sudhantara-isvara; I just saying my opinion, and it is
just an humble suggestions. If you disagree with all these points; then please
tell me the reason why you want to take rest in mayapur and how? Guru Maharaj
was silent for more than two mins. And I said, "I am not saying this;
because I am from coimbatore; you can take rest in any other place; but not it
Mayapur." Guru Maharaj said, "I am trying to give my time to Mayapur
community to make it more beautiful." Then, Janakiram pr also joined with
me and requested Guru Maharaj to come and take treatment in Coimbatore. Then
Guru Maharaj said something and made him speechless. And I requested Guru
Maharaj, at least you have to give everyday two hours to complete
"Caitanya Book Project"; he agreed more or less.
Then after shower he started to chant
his Gayathri. Before that, I was telling about the contest and everyone was
saying, "this contest makes people to think more about Lord Caitanya; and
in this way you have made found a new way to engage devotees to read Caitanya
lila." Guru Maharaj was hearing... then I said, "One mathaji sent a
message that after many years of purchasing Caitanya Caritamrita, just for this
contest she opened Caitanya Caritamrita to find answers." Then while
chanting Guru Maharaj started to shed tears, and I was wondering why? But my
speculation is that, all the devotees are remembering Lord's pastime. And Lord
Chaitanya's mahim a is sprouting in our hearts." This may be the reason.
It was 4:00pm. He didn't take his lunch yet. And I didn't go to lunch as seeing
Guru Maharaj's ecstasy; but prasadam serving devotee was calling me repeatedly
as I am the one left over to take lunch prasadam. I was wiping Guru maharaj's
tears with tissue paper. And it is rolling down, rolling down... who can
understand him. After completing the Gayathri chanting; he practically slept on
the chair itself. Too much tired after walking in the swimming pool. Then
Mr.Rao prabhu from Chennai was waiting to meet Guru Maharaj; and we just
thought how to feed Guru Maharaj, if he is not awake. Then we asked that
devotee Mr. Rao to have meeting while Guru Maharaj have his lunch. So that Guru
Maharaj will give his attention to meeting, so he won't sleep. Somehow, he
completed the lunch. Meanwhile, I also took my lunch. After lunch; devotees
came to take darshan of Guru Maharaj and he distributed sweet and blessed them
with Lord Jagannath's tooth brush stick. At 05:30pm we asked him to take rest,
as he will the speaker in main pandal at 08:00pm. Then he got up to go to his
bed. During that time, we said today is FIFA football match between Germany and
France; I said "Germany will win today" Ruci-rangata prabhu said,
"France will win" two more devotees supported him and then Janakiram
pr supported me and said, "Germany" then Ruci-rangata pr asked Guru Maharaj,
"Whin do you think Guru Maharaj will win today's match?" Then Guru
Maharaj said, "Ultimately Krishna has to decide. We should not" Then
he went to bed saying that, he will wake up at 6:30pm.
We woke him up at 6:30pm and he got
ready and was ready at 7:20 pm to go Pandal. As car was packed with devotees; I
though I wilm take taxi and go. Myself and Madhava Kanta Pr and Golokeswara pr
went following Guru Maharaj on taxi.
But we got late; Guru maharaj went to
Pandal and took Lord Jagannath Darshan and was coming back to main stage to
give lecture at 8:00pm. And I rushed to setup Video recording. Guru Maharaj
gave wonderful lecture on Bengali and in the end; he answered questions asked
by public. It was 9:20pm. Then we thought, "Okay! Today we will go earlier
from pandal" but while coming close to the car. Guru Maharaj said,
"go to question and answer booth" Then there with few percent of
energy to speak, he answered four questions for 30mins. We were just
concerned that it is 10:10pm, he didn't take his dinner yet. His voice has gone.
But he said in the lecture, "disciples are trying to control Guru by
saying you have to eat your dinner, you have take rest. Instead of helping in
preaching..." Everyone laughed. Everybody knows... This Q & A session
Guru Maharaj said, "Practical Questions and Practical Answers".
Mainly youth devotees were present and they were all so happy, and Guru Maharaj
blessed one by one and we left the pandal.
Then we reached Guru Maharaj's flat at
11:00pm. Then Guru Maharaj started to take his dinner. Srivas Pran pr was
feeding; then I came to feed and release him to take his dinner. Guru Maharaj
asked for the fruit Maha Prasadam that he offered to Lord Jagannath. Out of
those fruits, he selected one apple and said, "Cut and give me I want to
honor Jagannath's prasadam." Then I did. And he did the honoring of Maha
Prasadam. Then Guru Maharaj before going to bed, askEd me to read all the
answers and he said; let's see at least anyone give right answer to the 5th
question. I read all the mail; no one gave right answer, Guru Maharaj was
laughing at their speculation; but happy with their endeavour. I said,
"please give some clue." He said, "Read all, if noone give
answer, then I will give clue." I asked him, "At least tell me Guru
Maharaj; I am also breaking my head." After few seconds of silent, he
nodded his head and said, "NO!!!".
Then I continued reading, one mathaji,
she gave the right answer. Only one mathaji; but for that question, she
mentioned three guess. Guru Maharaj said, out of three guess one is the answer.
So the suspense continued. Then with great difficulty we took him to bed.
I was also tired; I was thinking in.my
mind. "Okay! Now Guru Maharaj finally going to take rest. So, I will go
and sleep." Then Guru Maharaj asked me, "who will read Bhagavatam for
me?" And I said, "I am here Guru Maharaj, I will read it." But,
I just felt bad, how i am self-fish; even though being with THE selfless
person; I am self fish." Immediately I said, "sorry! Guru
Maharaj" and took his iPad and stated to read. Guru Maharaj said where to
start, Srimad Bhagavatam 12th canto 11th chapter. And I read half. He slept.
And it was 1:00am. Then I took leave from him. And came to Servant's flat.
How merciful he is; I don't find any
cause for showing these much mercy on me. But, I can see it is the meaning of
"Cause less Mercy". Thank you Guru Maharaj.
